Couple looking for a retreat

What a beautiful setting, glen and suzanne really know how to make you feel at home. The food was exceptional, especially the way the breakfast was prepared and served, it was like art on a plate. And I gotta say, Glen’s stories about the area just made our mornings even better.

It wasn’t exactly cheap but honestly, after the experience we had, it felt justified.

Old Pines Hotel And Restaurant is beautifully decorated, exuding charm with its antiques and paintings. The spacious and comfortable room made it easy for me to navigate, ensuring a relaxing stay amid the lush surroundings and stunning views.

Some areas could use additional handrails for safety.

my stay exceeded all expectations, especially compared to my previous visit in spean bridge. the double room was spacious and beautifully decorated, offering stunning views of the surrounding hills. breakfast was exceptional, featuring freshly made dishes with local ingredients, truly making it a memorable experience.

the dining area felt a bit cold.

Good place with free wi-fi, free parking, and a lovely lounge area. The staff were attentive during my first stay, helping me with my elderly parents. I can't wait to come back for another trip!

Great dinner and comfy room but some noise from the bar at night.

The pasta was homemade and straight-up divine! Plus, the double room had stunning views over the lush countryside, and the breakfast was packed with choices to fuel our adventures.

While the 5-course dinner was top-notch, it didn't come cheap—£60 per head and portions were a bit on the teeny side, so don't show up hungry!

Perfect highland getaway!

We stayed for 1 night after a long day trekking. The room was super comfy, and we loved grabbing some cocktails before dinner. That cod risotto was outta this world! They even gave us a lift to nearby Gairlochy. Only wish there were more options for in-room snacks, but the breakfast made up for it. Definitely coming back!

my stay at old pines was magical! the highlight was the delightful breakfast with a stunning view of the lush pine forests. waking up to the serene sounds of nature was a dream. the staff were warm, making the experience extra special. it's close to the soldier's monument too, which adds to its charm.
